Hand-bound hardcover journal, water dragon

$29.99

In China, dragons are traditionally thought to be associated with water and weather. They rule over bodies of moving water, like rivers and waterfalls, and they control rain. I made this journal with that aspect of dragons in mind, grouping grays and blues to give the feeling of clouds and rain. This design is carried through inside the book as well, with the swirls on the end pages. Dragons are also symbolic of the masculine yang energy, which is considered a creative energy. The paper is suitable for both sketching and writing, and the binding is stitched with linen thread. This journal lays flat when open. It measures 5 ¾ inches wide by 8 ¼ inches tall and has 144 pages of white paper.
